Terms
Last updated 5 August 2026
The short version: Kura is a tool for keeping your own financial records. It is not a bank, not an adviser, and not a substitute for your own judgement. What follows is the longer version.
Agreement
By creating an account or using Kura, you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use the service. Kura is provided by Kura.
What Kura is
Kura is a private record-keeping tool for expenses, income, accounts and investments. It records what you tell it and presents it back to you. It does not connect to your bank, execute transactions, hold funds, or move money.
Not financial advice
Nothing in Kura is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Totals, trends, returns and any other figure it displays are arithmetic performed on data you entered — they are not a recommendation and not a professional opinion. Decisions you make after looking at them are yours. For advice about your circumstances, consult a qualified professional.
Accuracy is yours
Kura’s output is only as good as its input. Exchange rates are European Central Bank reference rates and are indicative, not dealing rates — the figure your bank actually charges will differ. Do not rely on Kura for tax filings, official reporting or any purpose requiring verified accuracy without checking against your statements.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password and any linked sign-in method secure, and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly at privacy@kura.green if you believe it has been accessed by someone else. You must be at least 16, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to access another user’s data, or probe, scan or test the security of the service without permission.
- Use Kura to store or process data unlawfully, or for money laundering, fraud, or concealment of criminal proceeds.
- Interfere with the service, overload it, or automate access in a way that degrades it for others.
Availability
Kura is provided as-is and as-available. There is no uptime guarantee. Features may change or be withdrawn. We may suspend the service for maintenance, and will try to avoid doing so without notice.
Your data
Your records remain yours. You can export everything at any time, and delete your account and its contents outright, from Settings. How data is handled is described in the privacy policy.
Ending it
You can delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will explain why unless legally prevented from doing so.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kura is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or losses arising from financial decisions you made while using it. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Switzerland, and disputes fall to the courts of Zurich, Switzerland. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will say so in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Kura afterwards means you accept the updated terms.
This document is written in English, which is the authoritative version. Kura’s interface is available in several languages; these terms are not.
